Buenos Aires Closes Dellepiane Highway for Bridge Construction

Work is set to begin on the assembly of the beams for the new Piedra Buena pedestrian bridge, located 500 meters from General Paz. Traffic will be affected by a series of mandatory detours. Cars entering from Riccheri Highway towards the center will be diverted to General Paz, from where it will be possible to return to the city via alternative routes such as Perito Moreno Highway, Directorio Avenue, San Juan, Roca, and 27 de Febrero. Those traveling on Dellepiane Highway towards Buenos Aires Province will have a mandatory detour at the Larrazábal exit. Buenos Aires, November 21 (NA) – Dellepiane Highway will be closed on the nights of November 25, 26, and 27 for nighttime work to advance the assembly of the beams for the new Piedra Buena pedestrian bridge. According to sources informed by the Noticias Argentinas agency, to minimize the impact on more than 200,000 daily users, the section between Larrazábal and General Paz Avenue will remain closed in both directions during these three nights from 10 PM to 5 AM. From there, traffic can continue on the service road to General Paz or choose alternative routes via avenues such as Eva Perón and Alberdi.
